A round wooden serving tray gathers the everyday clutter of a table into one warm circle of grain — the objects don't change, but the frame does, and suddenly the surface looks styled. Serve drinks on it, corral keys and remotes with it, or simply let it calm a tabletop at the end of the day.

Whatever the hour, it turns a bare surface into a finished one without rearranging a thing.

  • Warm circle of natural wood grain
  • Carries drinks, snacks or daily odds and ends
  • Turns a plain tabletop into a styled one
  • One piece that calms any surface

Scattered objects look like a mess, and the same objects on a tray look deliberate. Rowan™ is a device interior stylists have long relied on, cut from solid wood with a raised, turned lip. Put it on the coffee table and the remote, the matches and the candle become a composition. Put it on the ottoman and it gives a firm, level surface for two cups. The deep walnut-toned grain provides the look, and because it is one solid piece it carries real weight without flexing, from a stack of books to a full breakfast.

Tokangaʻi

Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry at once; solid wood must not be soaked or put in a dishwasher. A light coat of food-safe wood oil every few months keeps the grain rich.

Ngaahi Naunau

Solid wood turned as one round piece and finished in a deep walnut tone that shows the natural grain. The raised lip is part of the same cut, so there are no joins and no veneer edges to peel.

Clutter, composed

The objects stay the same and the frame changes. Rowan™ gathers everyday things into one warm circle of grain, and the table at once looks arranged.

Made to be used

Solid wood, a raised lip and no flex: carry coffee on it, stand a teapot on it or leave it on the ottoman. It is a tool that is also good to look at.

Timber™ Round Serving Tray — solid wood raised rim, two sizes, serve or style

Why Timber

One turned piece of real wood in two sizes: the simplest object in the room, and the hardest working.

The nightstand finally makes sense

Watch, glasses, lip balm, ring — they used to sprawl. Now they live on the small Timber and the surface looks curated instead of chaotic. The grain is gorgeous up close.

Sturdy enough for actual serving

I carry two full mugs and a plate of toast up the stairs on the large one every weekend. Zero flex, and the lip has saved a sliding mug more than once.

Reads far more expensive than it is

It's the same style tray I kept saving from interiors accounts — candles and a tiny vase on the ottoman. Friends assume it came from a boutique.

How can I select a size?
Small (Ø 20 cm) suits a nightstand, dresser or bathroom counter. Large (Ø 28.5 cm) is the size for a coffee table or ottoman, and holds three candles, a vase and the remote with room to spare.
Can food and drinks be served on it?
Yes. It is rigid solid wood with a raised lip. Wipe up spills promptly and it will serve breakfast for years.
Is it one solid piece, or veneer?
One solid turned round. The lip and base are the same piece of wood, so there are no seams and no veneer edges to lift.
Will the grain match the photos?
The tone will, but the exact grain will not, because every piece is cut from different wood. Yours is unique.
How do I keep its colour rich?
Wipe it dry after spills and rub in a little food-safe wood oil every few months. Those five minutes keep the walnut tone deep.
Can it be kept in a bathroom?
Yes, and it makes a very good tray for perfume and soap. Keep it out of standing water and dry it after splashes, as with any solid wood.
